The Founder’s Story
Founded by Sureesh, a passionate aquarist and a postgraduate in Fisheries Science from the Central Institute of Fisheries Education (CIFE), ZOLYT was born out of both deep expertise and real-world frustration.
Growing up around ornamental fish — especially majestic Arowanas — Sureesh noticed the same problems again and again: people were buying tanks from one place, sourcing fish from another, endlessly browsing YouTube, visiting multiple shops, or relying on hobbyists with no training. There was no unified, professional solution that offered both scientific guidance and aesthetic value.
